Lauren Conrad always looks flawless whenever she steps out and now the former ‘The Hills’ star has opened up on how she maintains her gorgeous beach wave hair. She reveals that her biggest hair icon is British actress Sienna Miller, because she has always loved how her hair looks:
”I’ve always loved her hair. It’s so beautiful and easy. It looks like she rolled out of bed — and she probably did!”
Speaking on her biggest ever hair blunder, Lauren says that cutting it too short was the only time she went wrong. She says it has been incredibly difficult to grow it back and she’s tried so many different solutions to get it back to a length she likes:
”My biggest hair mistake it was chopping it off! It’s so funny. My hair won’t grow — my hair has not gone past this length since I cut it seven years ago to my shoulders. I’ve tried vitamins, I’ve tried everything. It just won’t!”
Lauren doesn’t like to be too fussy when it comes to makeup and when she’s not working, she keeps makeup very simple. She also likes to just style her hair in simple waves and generally keeps her style low key:
”Day to day I don’t wear a lot of makeup and my hair is kind of, you know, just waves, I definitely love getting dressed up … but I think lower maintenance is easier. [The key is to] have fun with it, really. It shouldn’t be a task … I know that sounds silly, but you should enjoy getting ready for your day.”
