UPDATE: During Sunday’s 27-23 loss to the Seahawks, Williams rushed three times for nine yards and failed to catch his only target.
In Sunday’s 27-17 loss to the Cardinals, Kyren Williams rushed once for nine yards and caught all three of his targets for 30 yards.
Williams did not record any stats until the game’s final drive, and he played only 16 offensive snaps.
The Notre Dame rookie was able to show off his pass-catching ability on the final drive with three receptions and 39 total yards despite his limited usage.
Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson combined for 43 rushing yards on 12 attempts, with Henderson scoring the only touchdown of the trio.
The continued poor play of Akers and Henderson may provide Williams with more opportunities heading into a Week 11 matchup with the Saints, but with so many mouths to feed in the backfield, it will be difficult to trust any of the trio to have much of an impact in fantasy.
