Kristen Bell has revealed that her wedding to Dax Shepard will likely be far from lavish. She admits that she isn’t interested in planning a big wedding and hopes that they can quickly tie the knot just to make it official. Kristen says that they are mostly getting married for their baby. The actress says that the could get officially married any day now and it just wouldn’t be a big deal at all to either of them:
”We’re not having a wedding. It’s not a desire of either of ours to have any sort of day of celebration for us. I feel like we get enough attention in our daily lives and we just want something sort of private that involves pen and paper. It could be any day. Honestly, I could go home and we could do it today, there’s no forethought really going into it.”
She says that they just want a legal marriage and so going through with a quick wedding is just something they feel in essential now that they have a baby together. Kristen says that it’s “very important” they get married but when they do, it will be completely no frills:
”We do want all of the legal opportunities that come with a binding marriage, especially now that we have a kid. It’s very important, there are a lot of things that you need to make available and have in writing for your kid…Yeah, one of these days though.”
