In a new photo posted to social media early Wednesday, Katy Perry appeared topless as she discussed her new music. Her new album will be released on October 25, just a few days before her 40th birthday.
As part of her announcement, the singer showed her album cover, announced the title, and announced the release date as September 20. 143 is a code for ‘I love you,’ which was commonly used in the early 1990s in pager messages.
With her long black hair worn down and long lashes and a mauve lip, Katy Perry wore a shiny clear acrylic tank top over her chest and a see-through iridescent skirt.
Perry said in a statement, ‘I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message.’

On Tuesday, she released a glimpse of her new music video for Woman’s World.
Using a red and white polka dot scarf over her jet black hair, she donned blue hot pants and bedazzled power tools in the outtakes, referencing the 1943 We Can Do It poster.
With a jewel-covered orange tool belt around her hips, she performed choreography with backup dancers while flaunting her fit figure in the scanty outfit.
In a full makeup look with a glossy red lip, she finished her look with high-heeled over-the-knee worker boots.
The caption of her Instagram post reads, ‘BABY WE AIN’T GOING AWAY! JULY 11TH 4PM PT.’
