British model Kate Moss has opened up on her top Christmas-inspired makeup look, explaining how she likes to change her beauty routine to include more sparkle and shimmer for the festive season. She also likes to add “more metallic” to her makeup look and often first applies a self tanning product to look more naturally glowing before applying makeup. She explained her favourite look:
“Yes my beauty regime does change for Christmas parties. I wear more metallic and always a little bit more shimmer around Christmas. Sometimes I’ll add a metallic eye and I use the St.Tropez Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil to give my skin a hint of colour and subtle shimmer which is perfect for parties.”
Commenting further on her party makeup tips, Kate also believes a classic red lip looks gorgeous for events and she thinks it’s best when worn with a very subtle makeup look, such as very neutral skin and eyes, and just the lip being the focal point. She also revealed her favourite red lipstick shade:
“I really like a red lip and glistening skin, it’s my failsafe party beauty look. The St.Tropez Self Tan Luxe Dry Oil gives my skin a subtle golden shimmer which looks great for a night out. It’s nice to have a neutral glowing face and eyes and then a stronger lip for a pop of colour so I use my hero red 001 Rimmel lipstick which is nice for lips.”
Opening up on her skin secrets, Kate adds that she often applies oils to her body at night and wakes up feeling revitalized as a result:
“I love using oils at night, they make you feel like your skin has been restored; oils are just so nourishing for the skin.”
