Former ‘Dancing With The Stars’ dance partner Julianne Hough has opened up on her relationship with Ryan Seacrest. She admits that at first she was worried about the relationship because of Ryan’s fame and thought the relationship would be a very high profile one which she had some reservations about. Once she gave it a chance, her worries have melted away and she’s now very much is love and happy:
“I was reluctant because he is such an influential guy, and what if it didn’t work out. I’m very in love, and it feels great. I feel like I’m more comfortable in my own skin. You see me instead of all the makeup and hair.”
When it comes to beauty, Julianne is a “less is more” kind of girl and although she is a fan of beautifying herself, she doesn’t like to pile it on and keeps it simple:
“When I put on makeup, I’m always reminding myself that less is more. There is Playboy hot, and there is granola hot. Right now? I feel like I am in between.”
Following her departure from DWTS, Julianne is happy to find that she no longer has to be caked in makeup as often and doesn’t need layers of fake tan or hair extensions, which at first she found weird but she’s now adjusting to her “make-under”:
““Growing up it was just makeup galore. Now I’m more make-under than makeover. As a professional dancer, I was constantly in full makeup with my hair curled. I always had extensions and a fake tan. It was an adjustment when I stopped wearing so much stage makeup. I kept thinking, I am so pale! I need my fake tan! Now!”
