She talked about how her fans were disappointed that she took the role after her success in The Hunger Games franchise.
In a new interview with the New York Times, the 32-year-old two-time Oscar winner revealed the 34-year-old songstress.
Jennifer explained: ‘I was like, “Oh no, you guys are here because I’m here, and I’m here because you’re here. Wait, who decided that this was a good movie?”

Jennifer was a darling among critics in 2016, but this was not the case with Passengers, which received a 30% on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.
However, the sci-fi film did not bomb at the box office, grossing $100 million in the United States and Canada and $203.1 million in other territories for a worldwide total of $303.1 million.
Aside from Jennifer and Chris, the cast of the Morten Tyldum-directed film included Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne, Andy Garcia, Aurora Perrineau, Kara Flowers, and Vince Foster.
Passengers was a sci-fi romance film centered on Jennifer and Chris as two travelers on a space ship who are accidentally awoken from hibernation 90 years early.
When it becomes clear that something is wrong with the ship, the pair finds themselves fighting for their lives.
Despite the drama, Jennifer and Chris’ characters fall in love with each other.
