The good news is that the Tennessee Titans are 7-5 and play in the worst division in football. The bad news is that they have now lost two consecutive games and are 7-5 on the season.
There’s no way they don’t make the playoffs in that awful division, but they just lost to two playoff-bound teams in a row, Cincinnati and Philadelphia.
For example, they had their doors blown in last Sunday in Philadelphia by the Eagles, who took them to the woodshed 35-10.
Tennessee was outgained 453 yards to 209 yards, and only had 11 first downs compared to 26 for Philadelphia.
The Eagles gained 386 yards through the air against a supposedly good Titan defense that ranks 11th in points allowed.
QB Ryan Tannehill completed 14 of 22 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown, while Derrick Henry had his worst game of the season, gaining 30 yards on 2.7 yards per carry.
Tannehill was hit in the game and injured his ankle, but he is listed as probable.
The Titans are dealing with a slew of injuries, including WR Treylon Burks, who is questionable.
The Titans made more off-field news this week when they fired GM Jon Robinson.

- Jacksonville Jaguars
This season, the Jacksonville Jaguars have proven to be a difficult team to predict. They’ve shown glimpses of being a competitive team with victories over the Chargers and Ravens, but then they blow it, as they did last week in Detroit, losing 40-14.
They would prefer to forget their loss to the Lions. Detroit dominated the game in every phase, including time of possession (37 minutes to 23 minutes), total yards (437 to 266), and first downs (31 to 14).
The Jaguars are ranked 11th in total yards (364 per game) and 9th in rushing yards (127 per game), so this was out of character, especially against the NFL’s statistically worst defense.
Trevor Lawrence threw for 1790 yards and one touchdown, while Travis Etienne rushed for 54 yards.
Christian Kirk was the only bright spot, hauling in six passes for 104 yards. The Jaguars are in good shape heading into this game.
Trevor Lawrence (toe) was injured and missed practice, but he is listed as probable. Zay Jones is a questionable receiver.
