With the rookie Joneses out, the Patriots will be without two of their top five options at the position. Both Jonathan Jones (chest) and Jalen Mills (groin) are listed as questionable, so that number could rise to four.
New England will also be without two key offensive players, as receiver DeVante Parker and tight end Jonnu Smith are both out with concussions. With Hunter Henry listed as questionable, the Pats will be without a healthy option at the position on Sunday.
Scotty Washington, a practice squad member who was elevated for New England’s Week 16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.
The Patriots did get some good news, as running back Damien Harris was taken off the report and is expected to play. Rhamondre Stevenson, who is still recovering from an ankle injury, will benefit from his return.

Howard is listed as questionable because of a knee injury sustained during Thursday’s practice. If he is unable to play, 2020 first-round pick Noah Igbinoghene, who has been on the Dolphins’ inactive list all season, will most likely be his replacement.
Linebacker Bradley Chubb was wearing a cast on his right hand but took part in limited practice on Friday. He is questionable for Sunday and will be a game-time decision.
