Indiana will travel to San Antonio looking to extend its winning streak to three games. The Pacers are currently in the midst of a four-game road trip that will wrap up this coming weekend. Meanwhile, with Tuesday’s 102-94 victory in Utah, San Antonio ended a 16-game losing streak.
Pacers vs. Spurs injuries: 5 Questionable, 4 Out
-
The Pacers
After a hot start to the season (23-18), Indiana has struggled mightily ever since, and the absence of injured star guard Tyrese Haliburton seems to have had something to do with it.
According to Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star, Hailburton is doubtful to play against the Spurs on Thursday after being limited in practice on Wednesday due to a calf strain.
In his last five games, the star point guard has put up 23 point, 10.8 assist, 2.4 rebound, 1.2 steal, and 1.2 block averages in 35.4 minutes per game.
The Pacers also revealed on Monday that Kendall Brown is out indefinitely due to a right tibia stress fracture that required surgery.
Brown will likely miss his entire rookie year due to surgery, and though Indiana has provided no official timetable for his return, that is the most likely outcome.

The Spurs
Five of San Antonio’s first seven games this season were victories, but since then the team has struggled mightily. After beating Brooklyn on January 17, the Spurs went on a 16-game losing streak.
On Tuesday Keldon Johnson scored 25 points, his clutch late-game shooting helped seal the victory, raising his season scoring average to 21.8. He will continue to score as long as he is physically able to do so.
It’s not looking good for the Spurs this week, as Johnson’s status for Thursday’s game against the Pacers is in doubt due to a left foot strain.
Johnson probably hurt his foot against the Jazz on Tuesday, but he should be good to go for Thursday’s game unless he has a poor shootaround.
Keita Bates-Diop and Stanley Johnson could see increased playing time if he is compelled to attend the session.

With Thursday’s game, Isaiah Roby’s streak of games missed due to a sprained right ankle will reach five.
Due to soreness in his left thigh, Romeo Langford has been sidelined since January 23. There is currently no timeline for his return, but he will have a chance to play on Saturday against Houston.
Meanwhile, Birch (knee) won’t be able to play tonight. He hasn’t been able to play since Dec. 29 due to an injury to his right knee.
