The Jets injuries
Quinnen Williams was held out of practice for the third day in a row on Friday after failing to participate in a single practice this week. Despite this, Williams was listed as questionable to play by the Jets due to a calf injury.
Williams suffered a calf injury in last Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, and while he avoided serious injury, he may be forced to miss time.
Despite his lack of practice time, the Jets remain optimistic that Williams will be able to play this week.
According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Corey Davis (concussion) will miss Sunday’s game against Detroit.
Corey Davis was forced to leave the game against the Buffalo Bills in the first quarter. He was unable to play again and was placed in concussion protocol.
Denzel Mims appears to be the next in line if Davis is ruled out. Mims has seen limited action this season, with the majority of his snaps coming while Davis was out with a knee injury.
