A recent interview with Variety featured Demi Moore discussing Ghost, the reboot of her hit thriller, and ageism in the entertainment industry.

In response to a question about past attempts to remake her 1990 supernatural romance film, she said ‘there are some films better left alone.’

‘It depends on what the take is,’ she explained. ‘The success of Ghost is really about alchemy. Think about Whoopi, who anchored the comedy in a magical way. Or Tony Goldwyn, the boy next door who is the most unsuspecting villain. And the sweetness and virility of Patrick Swayze.’

Moore described Channing Tatum as ‘incredibly intelligent and talented’ when asked whether the actor might play the role previously played by Swayze in a potential Ghost remake. ‘Who knows what he would bring to it if it happened,’ she told Variety.
