Hunt: Showdown Leak – New Map Codenamed “Colorado”
The list below includes some of the key locations and features that many players seem to be looking for on the new map.
All Work In Progress Areas at a glance:
- Gasometer
- Oilfields
- Gold mining town
- Cattle farm
- Brewery
- Railroad
- Hunting lodge
- Stone crusher
- Mill
- Corn farm
- Lumberjack camp
- Silver mine
- Gold mine
- Gold rush
- Foundry
- Quarry
At first glance, the “Colorado” map appears to show a central quarry with several mine entrances. The oil fields could be in the west of the map, with a gold mining town surrounded by forests and greenery in the southeast.
The eastern compound could house a foundry, a cattle ranch, or a brewery. Aside from the buildings, the railroad tracks that can be seen around the quarry at all mine entrances stand out. Furthermore, the first potential extraction points are already visible on the map, and to many players’ delight, swamp areas appear to be scarce.
The first leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, as many things can still change during the development process. Especially since the release date for this new map may be a long way off.
Still, we find the idea of a quarry and mines heading in the direction of the industrial era to be very refreshing, and we hope that the theme of the new map remains that way.
