The Tempus Torrent is free for all players, but it requires some effort to unlock it so that players can start using it and leveling it up to its full potential with sweet attachments in the Gunsmith.
The challenge to unlock the Tempus Torrent is straightforward, and it can be completed in MW2 or Warzone 2. However, due to its specifics, your best bet for success is to join a MW2 multiplayer small map playlist.
- Weapon Challenge – Get 25 Double Kills with Marksman Rifles – or via Store Bundle.
A double kill is when you kill two enemy players (not AI enemies in Warzone 2 or DMZ) in a row. This can be done in any game mode or playlist, but the smaller the map, the better. Shipment 24/7, Shoot House 24/7, and Shoot the Ship are all excellent playlists for it.
For this challenge, a semi-automatic marksman rifle that fires multiple shots quickly, such as the EBR-14, is ideal.
If you don’t want to spend time on this challenge, you can unlock a blueprint for the Tempus Torrent in the CoD Store using CoD Points when the update goes live on March 15.
You can also unlock the it by extracting it in DMZ. You simply need to find one as loot in the game and successfully extract with it to permanently unlock it.
