Spark of Ingenuity is an indispensable material for crafting Epic-level rarity gear; here’s how to obtain it in WoW: Dragonflight.
How to get Spark of Ingenuity in WoW: Dragonflight ?
To begin, make sure that you have completed the main Dragonflight story campaign. You can return to Valdrakken once you are certain that you have completed this task. There, go to the fountain near the Seat of the Aspects to accept Therazal’s quest Learning Ingenuity. You will then be tasked with finding a goblin named Greyzik Cobblefinger, who will have a quest called Jump-Start? Jump-Starting! After completing this quest, you will be tasked with meeting the Maiden of Inspiration.
After speaking with her, accept the quest In Tyr’s Footsteps and go meet her in The Azure Span. She will then present you with the First Challenge of Tyr: Finesse challenge quest. One the quest is completed, you will be returned to the Engine of Innovation in Valdrakken. The quest Fueling the Engine will be assigned to you. When you finish this quest, you will receive your first Spark of Ingenuity!
Because Sparks of Ingenuity are time-gated every two weeks, you won’t be able to get them all right away if you play this close to the expansion’s release. They will be available on the following dates: December 12, December 26, January 9, and January 23. Of course, you’ll be able to obtain these Sparks of Ingenuity on your alt if necessary. You won’t have to replay the entire campaign to get them; instead, you’ll only need to complete the necessary quests. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait each time you need one.
What can it be used for?
Sparks of Ingenuity are used to craft Epic-Level gear above item level 350. At the moment, you can use this crafting reagent to create over 100 different pieces of gear and equipment. However, because the number of them available is currently so limited, it is advised that you choose wisely!
