Every Metroid-like game has that one ability that lets you go anywhere. In Metroid, the Space Jump allows Samus to practically spin through the air. Symphony of the Night simply transforms Alucard into a bat. And then there’s the wall jump in Ghost Song. This article will show you how to obtain this ability by using an item known as Ankle Spikes.
How to get the wall jump ability in Ghost Song
Ankle Spikes are an item that grants the ability to wall jump. You can travel anywhere in the game with these. If you get them before you find the blue ship part, you can actually wall jump up the sheer cliff next to it, grab it, and then return without even going through the main area that you’re supposed to see beforehand
To find the ability, you must navigate to a specific location. The images below show the map location and the item in question.
One last thing
Keep in mind that obtaining the Ankle Spikes can be dangerous if you are not adequately prepared. There’s a section where you have to flee from bugs that keep rising out of the ground before you get them. Don’t bother fighting them; just flee. You’ll eventually reach a breakable wall, on which you should launch your missiles. If your energy runs out, start hitting the wall with your melee weapon, then jump up onto the nearest platform to escape the bugs. Then you’ll have the Ghost Song wall jump ability and everything will be fine.
