How to fix Unable to connect to the login queue error in LoL
There could be many causes for the “Unable to connect to login queue” error. It’s possible that your ISP, router, or connection settings are to blame for the issue. The problem is probably on the server, though. This could indicate a server issue or that work is currently being completed. The following are all possible solutions:
The first step is to double-check everything. Check that your internet connection is operational and that all wires are properly connected. Even if they are, it may be worthwhile to disconnect and reconnect everything. Restart both your modem and your computer. Allow everything to refresh before attempting it again.
If that doesn’t work, we’ll move on to changing some settings. Changing your DNS settings in particular, as this could be the source of the problem. The method you use depends on the version of Windows or operating system you are using. You should be able to find instructions for your operating system online, but the general idea is that you need to go to your IPv4 settings and change the DNS values.
Before changing your DNS settings, make a note of them so that you can change them back if something goes wrong. You want to change the settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Give it a shot; if the problem is on your end, it might just work.
If this does not solve the problem, the problem is likely on the server. Unfortunately, at this point, your only option is to sit tight until the engineers at Riot find and fix the issue.
