Unlocking Hero’s Journey
To begin the Hero’s Journey, you must first complete the “Trailblaze Mission: A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant,” which is the latest mission added in version 1.2. Once you finish this prerequisite, you will receive a message from Mr. Xiyan, directing you to meet him at the Central Starkiff Haven. This unlocks the “Tales of the Fantastic” event and initiates Hero’s Journey.
Hero’s Journey consists of three separate chapters. The first two chapters are relatively straightforward, involving combat encounters, fetch quests, and the occasional puzzle. However, it’s the third and final chapter that introduces a challenging wrinkle.
Forging the Star-Shattering Blade of Truth
During the third chapter of Hero’s Journey, you will be tasked with forging the divine weapon, the Star-Shattering Blade of Truth (you can rename it if you prefer). To forge the weapon successfully, you must complete a series of tasks in the correct order; otherwise, you’ll have to start over.
- Bon Aqua: Put in the Bon Aqua first.
- Ignis Aureliae: Second, add the Ignis Aureliae.
- Coolant: Third, include the coolant.
- Arbor Hilt Wood and More Bon Aqua: Fourth and finally, put in the hilt wood from the Arbor and add more Bon Aqua.
With these steps completed in the correct order, you will successfully forge the Star-Shattering Blade of Truth.
Defeating the Abundance Sprite: Malefic Ape
After forging the divine weapon, your next task in the final chapter of Hero’s Journey is to defeat the Abundance Sprite: Malefic Ape in battle. Once you accomplish this, you will finish the quest and be further rewarded with 30 Stellar Jade, three Traveler’s Guides, and another 30,000 credits.
Additional Benefits and Rewards
Completing the entire Hero’s Journey mission will not only provide you with the satisfaction of a challenging quest but also unlock all of the “Legends of Past and Present” scenes. These scenes make up the second game mode available in Tales of the Fantastic. Moreover, playing Hero’s Journey is an excellent way to earn more Plot Armor for the second game mode.
