Many players have been asking for a friend chat feature ever since Honkai: Star Rail was released, and it looks like they’re going to get it.
Honkai: Star Rail may soon include a much-requested friend chat feature
UPDATE: The chat system has been confirmed and will be included in version 1.1.
Honkai: Star Rail is still in its early stages, so it is to be expected that there will be gaps in functionality and room for improvement in the current version. The addition of a friends chat is one of the many features that players have asked for, and it seems like it may be implemented soon.

In a post on the “Leaks by Blednaya” Telegram group, owned by prominent HoYoverse leaker Blednaya, she revealed that an in-game chat will be added to Star Rail in update 1.1. Screenshots of the rumored chat function have also surfaced on social media, showing a window with text bubbles between two friends.
After seeing the leaked in-game chat, many Honkai: Star Rail players expressed their enthusiasm for the feature, with some hoping for stickers similar to those found in Genshin Impact. However, there are also some users who don’t like the chat’s user interface and suggest that it more closely resembles in-game characters’ text conversations.
Regardless, until we hear official word from HoYoverse, gamers should take this information with a grain of salt.
