How to get more inventory space in Hogwarts Legacy
The only known way to unlock additional storage in Hogwarts Legacy is to complete the Merlin Trials. You’ll get upgrades to your storage space if you finish 2, 6, 10, 14, or 18 Merlin trials.
Merlin Trials can be found throughout the open world and can only be completed after meeting Merlin researcher Nora Treadwell during the main story. Players will discover, in collaboration with Nora, that Merlin left stone circles throughout the open world, which Mallowsweet leaves can activate. There are several types of Merlin Trials, but they all require players to solve environmental puzzles like lighting braziers with Incendio or doing some light platforming.
On a world map, these trials are typically denoted by feather-shaped icons, making them easy to locate and solve. Players should keep in mind, however, that certain Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy necessitate the learning of specific spells. The majority of these can be learned during the main story, but some, such as the Knockback Jinx Flipendo, can only be obtained through side quests. As a result, puzzle-solving Hogwarts Legacy players looking for extra inventory space will need to stay on top of their studies.
