In Hogwarts Legacy, you can unlock the Herodiana outfit by completing a side quest called “The Herodiana Puzzles.” This article will tell you how to access the Herodiana puzzles and solve them.
How to unlock the Halls of Herodiana
To progress in the quest, you’ll need the Depulso and Accio spells.
You must first complete the main quest ‘The Helm of Urtkot’ to activate the quest. After that, proceed to the Charms Classroom waypoint and speak with Sophronia Franklin (she will be standing in front of the portraits in the sitting area). She will explain the quest and point you in the direction of the secret training room.
To find the room, just go to the Defense Against the Dark Arts tower and go to the lowest floor. Turn left when you get to the door that leads to the Transfiguration Courtyard. There will be a square sign on the back wall. Use Depulso to hit it, and the door will open.
How to solve the Halls of Herodiana puzzles in Hogwarts Legacy
First puzzle
The first puzzle is simple. Cast Depulso on the two glowing square boulders in front of you as soon as you enter the hall. This will propel them to a ledge, which you can now ascend. A chest on the ledge contains the first item – Herodiana’s Cape – as well as the path forward.
Second puzzle
The second room contains a single cube as well as a pair of cubes. First, move the single cube using Depulso. Cast Accio to move the two cubes to the left, followed by Depulso to move them forward and merge them into a single cube. Move all three to the right using the Accio command. You may now ascend and leap across to the next gate. The second chest contains Herodiana’s Garments.
If you also want to get the optional chest in the second room’s rafters, do the following:
- Cast Depulso to move the single cube forwards
- Cast Accio to move the single cube to the right
- Cast Depulso to move it forward
- Cast Accio to move it to the left (it will be stopped by another cube)
- Cast Accio to move it all the way to the back of the room
- Move the piece with the two blocks from the right side of the room to the left side.
- Move it backwards (if you are facing in from the entrance)
- Return it to the right side, where it will be obstructed by another block.
- Move it back
- Move it left
- You can now reach the ledge with the chest by climbing from the two-piece to the single cube.
- By casting a simple spell at the hanging gold light, you can reset the room.
Final Puzzle
The final puzzle can be challenging. To get across, you need to move a two-cube piece around the grid. Follow these steps:
- Cast Accio to move the cubes to the right.
- Cast Depulso to send it forward
- Climb on top of the cubes to the far left.
- Cast Accio to move the glowing cubes to the left, aligning them in front of you.
- Hop over to the immobile cubes in front of it.
- Hit the switch to reset the board
- Cast Accio on the glowing cubes to bring them forward.
- Cast Accio again, this time angled, to bring them in front of you on the left.
- Hop across to the ledge at the far end of the room.
- The final piece of Herodiana’s clothing can be found inside the chest.
If you fall off the platform, there is a cube in the lower right corner that you can use to get back on.
All that remains now is to return to Sophronia and complete the quest.
