Georgia May Jagger’s Beauty Ethos: “be Happy in Your Own Skin”

British model Georgia May Jagger has opened up on her personal beauty ethos, commenting that she thinks women should age naturally and not try to alter their appearance, especially because it’s impossible to reverse cosmetic surgery once it has been done. She believes being “happy in your own skin” in the best way to approach beauty, even if it means embracing wrinkles along the way. She commented:

”Once you start messing with your face, it’s hard to go back. Anyway, it’s good to have wrinkles, it shows your experiences. As soon as you’re older than 20, you’re never going to be 20 again. You might as well embrace it and be happy in your own skin rather than fight something you can never win. That’s Mum’s take on it and I think it’s a pretty good one.”

The model’s famous mother Jerry Hall has had a long career but Georgia believes she might not like to stay modelling for such a long time and believes it would feel good to try a career that wasn’t based on just her looks:

“I recognise not everyone has a long career like Mum and to a certain extent I want to be able to do this for now, but then at some point be able to look like s**t every day.”

Georgia is interested in exploring other careers and thinks it’s a great idea to give everything a go:

”Nowadays one passion isn’t enough is it? I love photography and art and would love to explore that – who doesn’t need to multi-task?”
