Scaramouche Boss location and requirements in Genshin Impact 3.2
Scaramouche boss, formally known as Shouki no Kami the Prodigal, is located in Genshin Impact, southeast of Sumeru City. The location is known as Joururi Workshop, and it can only be reached after completing the following tasks:
- Reach Adventure Rank 35 or above
- Complete Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises”
Based on the criteria listed above, new players may struggle to complete it because reaching AR 35 requires a significant amount of time and patience. They can, however, visit a friend’s world and ask them to enter the domain.
Keep in mind that the mentioned Archon Quest is the most recent Sumeru Archon Quest, which means you must finish the previous one before beginning the new one. Depending on whether you skip the dialogue or not, the new Archon Quest takes between three and four hours to complete.
How to defeat the Scaramouche Boss in Genshin Impact 3.2
The boss goes through two distinct phases, each accompanied by some catchy themes. Even if you can’t stand him, at least there’s good music. You’ve also probably noticed that green thing floating around you. The Neo Akasha Terminal is your best friend in this place.
Initial Phase
Scaramouche only uses his upper body to fight you in the first phase. You can charge the Neo Akasha Terminal by collecting the Energy Blocks dropped by the boss, and you can use a full gauge to activate the special tiles in front of him. Elemental Matrixes are what they’re called, and each one has a unique effect based on its type.
- Pyro: Clears the Raw Frost effect from the ground.
- Cryo: Clears the Remnant Flame effect from the ground.
- Anemo: Creates an Upcurrent that players can use to dodge some of Shouki no Kami’s attacks.
- Hydro: Creates a continuous healing effect.
- Electro: Activate two Electro Matrix to overload and paralyze Shouki no Kami.
This phase is relatively simple, and the difficulties will begin after his full Megazord transition.
Second Phase
During the second phase, it will be difficult to attack Shouki no Kami because his entire body will float in the air for the duration of the battle. Charge your Neo Akasha Terminal once more and aim at Scaramouche to deplete his shield.Scaramouche will begin to channel a massive attack and summon the Nirvana Engine once the shield is completely depleted. Destroy it to make Shouki no Kami vulnerable, then use the Four-Leaf Sigils (the grappling hooks) to reach the platform beneath him and end the fight for good. He can be annoying, but like the Raiden boss, you can easily burn him down once his enhanced state is over.
Once defeated, Scaramouche will drop some unique rewards, such as the Puppet Strings, Mirror of Mushin, and Daka’s Bell Talent Level-up Materials, which are required for some characters. You can only get those once per week, and you have a better chance of getting multiple copies in the harder difficulties.
