Freida Pinto has revealed that as a teenager she used to have a crush on a major actor – she claims she even used to dream about him:
”As a teenager you have all kinds of dreams. And Leonardo’s part of them!”
Commenting on her relationship with fellow actor Dev Patel, Freida says that they enjoy a lot of fun time together and laugh at each others jokes:
”The two of us are all over the place. We’re laughing at each other’s jokes and they’re not funny at all, but we’re just encouraging each other.”
She speaks candidly about learning how to behave properly in front of the cameras, and says that at first she was star-struck when she bumped into a big name on the red carpet, but these days she has learned how to deal with it:
”Now I’ve learned all these tricks. Always smile, and look slowly from left to the right. But in 2009, I was new to all of it. It was the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ effect. Angelina Jolie would walk past and I was, like, ‘Seriously?”’
Freida recently stripped off for a nude scene in her latest movie ‘Trishna’, which she says went well and was done with a small crew so she felt more comfortable:
”It was hard but it was a small crew, and they were good at not making their presence felt. They didn’t go, ‘Quick! She’s nearly naked! Get your camera out!”’
