How to shoot targets with an SMG or Assault Rifle while on a Grind Rail in Fortnite MEGA
The Syndicate Quests are divided into seven stages. All of them require the players to complete various tasks in exchange for experience. There is no way around completing the previous stages in order to progress to the next. The third stage of the Syndicate Quests requires players to shoot targets with SMGs or Assault Rifles while riding the new Grind Rails mobility mechanic.
The Grind Rails can be found in Mega City, a new location in the map’s southeast corner:
You must shoot targets with an SMG or an Assault Rifle for this Syndicate challenge. Because you’ll need to go to Mega City anyway to use the Grind Rails, we recommend looking through the loot at this location to find the right gun.
SMGs and Assault Rifles are fairly common, so it shouldn’t take you long to find one in a treasure chest or on the floor. You could also try killing enemies to see if they have the weapon you need, but this is riskier.
Once you’ve obtained an SMG or Assault Rifle, you should be able to find the Grind Rails either to the northwest or in the center of Mega City. To use a Grind Rail, simply jump on it and you’ll begin moving. You can move forward or backward normally to speed up, slow down, or change direction.
Line up the targets in front of you with the Grind Rails, then slow down to get a better shot.
The Syndicate challenge will be completed once you shoot three of these targets while on a Grind Rail with an SMG or Assault Rifle.
