Fortnite Guide – How to travel distance using the Kinetic Blade dash attack

The latest Fortnite patch introduced a new set of weekly quests, and one of the seasonal challenges requires you to travel a distance using the Kinetic Blade dash attack. Completing the task will grant players 12,000 XP and allow them to obtain the AOT’s iconic weapon, Kinetic Blade.

Kinetic Blades spawn in Fortnite as regular loot, so you can find them on the ground or in chests. It is also available at Kenjutsu Crossing. There are nine different Kinetic Blades to be found in the main dojo at this new point of interest. Finally, you can obtain this weapon from the NPC Mizuki in The Citadel’s watchtower.

When you have a Kinetic Blade in your hands, press the appropriate key on your keyboard to equip it. Then, using the Kinetic Blade dash attack, right-click your mouse to travel a distance. However, the Fortnite challenge is not over because a single dash attack can only travel up to 25 meters. To complete the quest, you must travel 500 meters with the new weapon.

As a result, you’ll need to perform around 20 dash attacks to complete this challenge. It’s also worth noting that there’s a 10-second cooldown after each attack, so plan your next move accordingly.

The challenge will be marked as completed once you complete the core objective, and you will receive free Fortnite XP for your efforts.
