Even though it’s easy to hire a specialist in Fortnite, it’s much more challenging to give them an command. Here, we’ll walk you through the process.
Fortnite Guide – How to give a hired specialist a command
The Follower Comms menu allows you to issue a command to a hired specialist. To access it, hold down the middle mouse button on a PC or the left D-Pad on a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. A menu will appear, along with the following commands:
- Move
- Wait
- Follow
- Revive
Remember that pressing the buttons before hiring a specialist will bring up the standard Squad Comms. Aside from that, if you want to complete the Spring Breakout Challenge, “Give a hired Specialist Character a command,” you can use the “Move” to quickly complete the challenge and gain 20,000 XP.
All specialist locations in Fortnite
You can hire any specialist character in the game as long as you know where they are and have 200 gold. All that remains is for you to visit the specialist location where you want to hire the specialist, interact with the specialist, and select the hire option, which costs 200 Gold.
