Here you’ll find everything you need to know about FIFA 23 January transfer update, including its release date, players, and ratings update.
FIFA 23 January transfer update release date
On February 1st, the first FIFA 23 January transfer update was released. However, due to the absence of several notable transfers, including roughly half of Chelsea’s roster, multiple batches are likely.
These will most likely appear in the coming days as all of the moves are finalized and can be officially added to FUT. Any ‘outdated’ versions of players who have changed clubs will remain in packs until their new card is released, unless they have been without a club in the interim, as in Ronaldo‘s bizarre case.

Ratings update speculation
The winter ratings update was a staple of previous editions of Ultimate Team, with players who were performing well having their ratings updated. This was not only an exciting time because we received improved cards, but it also provided a significant boost to the market.
However, there was no winter ratings refresh in either FIFA 21 or FIFA 22, so it is safe to assume that the same will happen this year as well. The Winter Refresh promotion, which provided limited-time special cards to players at new clubs, could return, but base-card upgrades are unlikely.
With that, we’ve covered everything you need to know about the January transfer update, as well as some speculation regarding the ratings refresh.
