SUMMARY

  • Kenneth Walker
  • Damien Harris
  • Treylon Burks
  • Jakobi Meyers
  • Rhamondre Stevenson

1. Kenneth Walker

UPDATE (DEC. 17): Walker rushed 12 times for 47 yards and caught four of five targets for 32 yards in Thursday night’s 21-13 loss to the 49ers.

UPDATE (Dec. 13): QUESTIONABLE

UPDATE: According to beat writer John Boyle, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told reporters on Friday that Walker (ankle) is a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Panthers.

Walker (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice, according to the Seahawks’ official injury report.

Walker left Seattle’s Week 13 game against the Rams and did not return, and a DNP to begin the week isn’t the best indicator of his Week 14 availability.

Walker is now expected to be labeled as “questionable” for Sunday’s home game against the Panthers, and he could be ruled “out” if he does not practice for the next two days.

DeeJay Dallas, another running back, was also a DNP on Wednesday due to an ankle injury suffered in Week 13.

Dallas was given the “doubtful” tag in the middle of the game, but returned in the third quarter.

If Walker and Dallas are unable to play this week, Tony Jones Jr. and Travis Homer (knee) will split backfield duties. In a favorable matchup against the Panthers, Jones Jr. and Homer both rank as flex options in deeper leagues.

2. Damien Harris

UPDATE (DEC. 17): Harris (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raiders after only limited practice this week, according to Evan Lazar of the Patriots’ official website.

UPDATE (Dec. 13): QUESTIONABLE

UPDATE 2: According to NESN’s Zack Cox, Harris (thigh) did not practice on Friday.

UPDATE: The Athletic’s Chad Graff reports that Harris (thigh) was not present during Thursday’s practice.

Harris (thigh) left the Patriots’ Week 13 loss to the Bills after leaving the previous week’s game against the Vikings.

The Patriots have yet to release their initial Week 14 injury report, despite traveling to Arizona on Monday Night Football.

Harris will most likely be “limited” in practice, and his availability for Monday night is uncertain.

Waiting to see if Harris is active before New England’s game on Monday isn’t the best idea.

With or without Harris, Rhamondre Stevenson remains the team’s RB1 and is a must-start. Even if Harris plays, he’s a flex option at best.

3. Treylon Burks

UPDATE (DEC. 17): Burks (concussion) is out of Sunday’s game against the Chargers, according to Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official website.

UPDATE(Dec. 13): QUESTIONABLE

UPDATE: Burks (concussion) was missing during Thursday’s practice, according to ESPN’s Turron Davenport.

Burks (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday in preparation for the Titans’ Week 14 game against the Jaguars.

In last week’s game against the Eagles, the rookie wide receiver suffered a concussion after taking a big hit from Eagles safety Marcus Epps while catching a touchdown in the first half.

Burks did not return to the game and will have to go through the league’s concussion protocol before being able to play again on Sunday.

If Burks is unable to play, the Titans will be forced to rely on the duo of Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who were held to two receptions for 10 yards last week.

Aside from those two wide receivers, rookie tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo could see more targets against a Jaguars defense that allows the pass.

4. Jakobi Meyers

UPDATE (DEC. 18): Meyers (concussion) is expected to play against the Raiders on Sunday, according to Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald.

Meyers, who was inactive against the Cardinals last Monday, is officially listed as questionable after practicing in a limited fashion Friday, but he appears to be on track to return to the lineup Sunday after a one-game absence.

The wide receiver’s Week 15 status will be confirmed once the Patriots’ inactives are posted ahead of the team’s 4:05 ET kickoff.

5. Rhamondre Stevenson

UPDATE (DEC. 18): According to Evan Lazar of the Patriots’ official website, Stevenson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raiders.

After not practicing on Wednesday or Thursday, Stevenson logged a limited session on Friday, allowing him to play against Las Vegas.

Damien Harris (thigh) is also questionable after practicing in a limited capacity all week. The status of the two backs is thus worth monitoring ahead of Sunday’s 4:05 p.m.

ET kickoff, and if either of the Patriots’ top two backs is out or limited this weekend, rookies Pierre Strong and Kevin Harris will be called upon to log additional touches, as they did in Week 14, when Damien Harris was inactive and Stevenson’s ankle injury limited him to 13 snaps.
