Attending Elle’s 19th Annual Women in Hollywood party held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last night, actress Emma Stone stole the spotlight by arriving in a pretty pink Valentino mini-dress. The dress, which features a crisp white collar and sheer pink sleeves, makes a huge statement thanks to the bright hot pink shade it’s created in, and she’s made an even bigger impact by adding houndstooth print pumps to the mix and a black sequin clutch. With her hair pulled back neatly but still showing off a new set of bangs, it looks like Emma is really gearing up to take on the label of ‘style icon’ in the near future.
This quirky, fun look was one of the best of the night. The dress is still ladylike and elegant, but that playful pink colour takes this look to another level. Emma’s style continues to get better all the time, and this seems like a particularly high point. It’s perfectly pieced together, and while it’s quirky, it isn’t totally ‘Katy Perry’ or anything – it’s still kinda subtle and wearable. Emma nails it in Valentino and looks completely effortless as she pulls the red carpet out from under everyone else and takes it for her own. Damn.
