Emma Roberts recently confirmed her engagement to actor Evan Peters. The young couple met on the set of her upcoming film ‘Adult World’ back in 2012 but according to Emma, they didn’t initially date until after filming ended. Emma admits that their relationship got off to a rocky start because she tried to talk to him on set and it was awkward. Emma was convinced that Evan thought she was “weird” and he didn’t talk to her at all during the filming:
”We met on the movie. Everyone thought we dated on the movie and we didn’t, not for a long time after. I actually, on the set, was like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re totally gonna date.’ And I would like flirt with him, which ended up looking like I had something in my eye because I’d be like, ‘Hey, what’s up?’ and he literally didn’t speak to me the entire movie. He thought I was so weird.”
Emma admits that she understands why Evan was reluctant at first because she would wear no makeup and her hair looked bad as she walked around on set. She explains that she wasn’t “cute” and can see why he didn’t seem interested:
”I had no makeup, it looks like I cut my own hair off, so I was not exactly looking cute to get a man.”
The actress also spoke on landing her part in American Horror Story, stating that she was so excited to get the part because she has always wanted to play a witch:
“I was obsessed with every witch show as a kid, if I get to play a witch, yes I’m in.”
