Elle Fanning attended the ‘Ginger and Rosa’ BFI London Film Festival Premiere, stepping out on the red carpet in a subtle floral print gown paired with a coordinating mint cardigan which she wore thrown over her shoulders. Elle completed the look with a white lace choker. The younger Fanning sister is always lauded for her unique style that seems to transcend her age (it seems more vintage inspired than youthful) and this look is another outfit that fits into the typical ‘Elle’ box. It’s quirky but also feminine, classic and very timeless. With sleek, straight blonde hair and minimal makeup, Elle’s outfit does seem a little old for her, but because it’s not in a sexy way, she gets away with it.
Elle’s been around for a while now, and at the tender age of 14, already has a fully fledged career with an impressive list of titles under her belt, not to mention the legendary directors she’s already had the chance to work with. Elle’s style is quite different to her sister Dakota’s, and their careers are totally separate too. They both picks really interesting roles to play, and the same can be said about their fashion taste: they select unconventional and slightly bewildering pieces to wear on the red carpet that make you think twice.
