There is something about those Olsens and the way they dress. Not just blind fashion followers, they seem to develop their own taste and sense of style when it comes to fashion. Actresses-turned-designers Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen have always been known for their boho/slightly scruffy look and their young sis Elizabeth has in a way adapted their look for her own in a subtle way, adding a preppy twist to the relaxed look. Stepping out in Paris where she attended some of the Paris Fashion Week shows, Elizabeth looked relaxed in a camel coloured blazer, navy scarf, long black maxi-skirt and cute black velvet slippers. She completed the look by adding a large black leather shoulder bag and tan sunglasses. The skirt and slippers could easily be stolen from her older sisters’ wardrobe, but the blazer is more structured than what they usually choose.
Elizabeth is continuing to impress with her well selected acting roles and her dress sense is equally as impressive. This look is very simple, yet layered and effortlessly chic. It might not take a genius to put together a look like this – it’s even a little mismatched – but it’s all part of the charming and cool scruffy look her sisters invented. It might not be to everyone’s taste, but she pulls it off with ease. Elizabeth is going to be a huge name in the future in Hollywood, and hopefully we’ll see her style evolving along side her career. She seems serious about building a lasting career and has done her best to do what it right – she doesn’t need to worry about just being Mary-Kate and Ashley’s younger sister anymore.
