Rapper Drake has finally spoken on his relationship with singer Rihanna. The two were a couple while Rihanna was still wrapped up in her relationship with on-again/off-again boyfriend Chris Brown a few years ago and he says that the singer broke his heart unintentionally. Drake calls her “the ultimate fantasy” and says that they’ve now put the past behind them and are still close friends:
”She’s the ultimate fantasy. I mean, I think about it. Like, ‘Man, that would be good.’ We have fun together, she’s cool and s**t. But we’re just friends. That’s my dog for life.”
Drake admits that Rihanna did cause him some heartbreak but it wasn’t her fault and he realized that she never intended to be with him for a long period:
”At the time it hurt, but she didn’t mean to. I’ll never put that on her. I was hurt because I slowly started to realise what it was. I guess I thought it was more.”
The 27-year-old rapper admits he isn’t chasing tail as much as he used to and has slowed down his womanizing ways as of late because he doesn’t feel as though he has anything to make up for or prove anymore. He is instead looking for someone that can be special to him long term:
”I’m not after p***y like I was three years ago, when I was trying to make up for all the years when no girl would talk to me. But I haven’t met somebody that makes everybody else not matter.”
