Attending the amfAR Gala held in New York City last night, model Doutzen Kroes blew her competition out of the water in a stunning duo coloured strapless tangerine floor-length gown. The fresh, vibrant colour goes with Doutzen’s golden skin flawlessly, creating an unbeatable combination. The shape of the dress is relaxed and very simple, with two colours blended in together but not in a tacky looking way. She completed the look with some very minimal silver jewellery which is extremely subtle. Her hair is loosely tied back and her makeup is natural. As a model, Doutzen has an advantage because almost everything is bound to look good on her, but she’s picked an amazing dress that stands out from the crowd too.
Doutzen has kept her red carpet simple for the charity event. It’s fresh and unfussy, so refined and ultimately elegant. The cut is flattering and doesn’t look over structured or too high maintenance. Doutzen nails this look and turns everyone else (including plenty of other model attendees) green with complete envy.
