Recently released on PC, Starship Troopers: Extermination raises questions about its console availability and crossplay capability.
Does Starship Troopers: Extermination feature any sort of crossplay?
Due to its initial PC-only release, Starship Troopers will not support cross-platform play at launch.
However, the developers have not completely ruled out a console release in the future, so console players still have a chance to get their hands on the game.
According to the Steam FAQs, the team behind the sci-fi FPS says, “While we’re aware of the demand for a console release, our current goal is to release on PC first.” However, not even the Ministry of Paranormal Warfare knows what the future holds!” Another answer on the Steam FAQ page confirms that Starship Troopers: Extermination uses studio-operated servers, which means that crossplay is possible if and when the game is released on consoles.
That’s all we can tell you about Starship Troopers: Extermination crossplay for the time being.
