Prepare yourself to learn how to complete the two new DMZ missions, Dark Water and Flight Risk, that have just arrived in Season 3.
DMZ Guide – How to complete the Dark Water mission
There are several steps to completing this DMZ mission. You’ll need to find a Rebreater, find the Cartel Warehouse Key, and then locate and extract the Laptop from the Warehous.
The new “Rebreather” device is a critical tool in ensuring your success. This will give you plenty of time to enter the shipwreck and locate the Cartel Warehouse key. You can find one anywhere that sells medical supplies, such as medicine cabinets.
Once you’ve obtained a Rebreather, you’ll need to travel to the Southeast. Go to the waters beneath Sariff Bay and Sawah Village, where a sunken ship will be visible.
With your Rebreather, swim to the bottom of the ship and look on a wooden table in the ocean for the Cartel Warehouse key. Once you have the key, you should swim back up and find a mode of transportation.
The next step requires you to dash to one of the buildings in Hafit Port. You’ll come across a door with a white X, which will lead you to all the loot you’ll ever need. Gather your loot and look for the Cartel Laptop, which can be found on some shelves near the water tank.
DMZ Guide – How to complete the Flight Risk mission
Flight Risk is one of the new missions available to players. It requires players to locate the reintroduced Heavy Chopper, refuel it, and use it to escape the map.
Heavy Chopper fuel can spawn in a variety of locations throughout the DMZ. Players should eventually come across some Heavy Chopper fuel if they search around the Al Malik Airport.
Players can also board the Cargo Train, which circles Al Mazrah. Heavy Chopper fuel is more likely to be found in one of the train’s carts. Players should be cautious, however, because the Cargo Train has become a popular target for other players due to the large amount of loot found inside.
After you’ve obtained the helicopter fuel, it’s time to locate the Heavy Chopper. The Heavy Chopper is usually found near Hafid Port on the southwestern side of Al Mazrah. A large icon on the map indicating the location of the Heavy Chopper will assist players.
Activision has added two new exfil methods since the release of DMZ season three. Players must board and use the Heavy Chopper to exfil after it has been fueled to complete Flight Risk. To exfiltrate, players simply fly to any out-of-bounds area on the map.
