In this Diablo 4 guide, we’ll show you where to find the Ashava World Boss and how to defeat her during her spawn times.
Diablo 4 Ashava World Boss Guide – Spawn times
Ashava appears once every 3 hours and remains present for a duration of 15 minutes. Players will receive a notification up to 30 minutes before her arrival, allowing them to prepare for the encounter.
Diablo 4 Ashava World Boss Guide – Location
The World Boss Ashava can be found in the southeastern part of the Fractured Peaks. To engage this particular boss, you will need to travel eastward from the Frigid Expanse to the Crucible. Be cautious, as this area and the boss in Diablo 4 will require level 25 characters.
Diablo 4 Ashava World Boss Guide – Rewards
Defeating Ashava in Diablo 4 offers an opportunity to obtain highly sought-after rewards, including Legendary gear and Scattered Prisms. Notably, participants who emerged victorious against Ashava during the server slam beta were rewarded with a unique Cry of Ashava mount trophy, a prestigious accolade no longer obtainable in the current game version.
Diablo 4 Ashava World Boss Guide – How to beat
Ashava is a more challenging and entertaining boss than previous Diablo bosses because she has a variety of attacks you’ll need to anticipate. Keep in mind that there is lingering poison damage in all of these attacks.
Furthermore, Ashava scales based on the number of players fighting her, so if a full cadre of 12 players is attempting to take her down, she will be at her most powerful. At a lower player count, you may have better luck with higher-skilled players.
Ashava’s move-set
- Ground Pound: Ashava will take a quick backstep before winding up and pounding the spot she was previously at.
- Lunging Chomp: Ashava lowers her head and snaps her neck towards her target. Her bite is frequently a one-shot kill.
- Pounce Stomp: Ashava crouches on her hindlegs and then leaps forward, destroying targets.
- Area of Attack Sweep: Ashava performs a 360-degree spin with one of her forearm blades, followed by a half-spin in the same direction with the other blade. She’ll telegraph the attack by raising her arm almost all the way back to her shoulder. Players can be knocked down or killed instantly.
- Poison Clouds: Ashava breathes/vomits poisonous gas clouds, which turn into poison pools on the ground, causing ongoing damage. You’ll notice this when she stands up and green drool begins to flow from her mouth.
- Plow Back: Ahsava rears up, slashing the ground with both blades, then plowing it back toward her hind legs. Capable of instant death and player dragging.
Strategy
One of the most important things to remember when dealing with Ashava is to stay behind her as much as possible in order to avoid and evade her attacks. This is especially the case if you prefer to play in close quarters.
Then, to counter her physical attacks, use any gear or skills that create barriers / shields / domes / etc.
Equip any poison-resistant equipment you have. This is critical because you will constantly take poison damage.
If you die and use a checkpoint, your gear will lose 10% durability, so try to revive allies (and hopefully they’ll reciprocate).
The gold bar beneath Ashava’s health bar indicates when she will stagger, flop to the ground, and expose herself to attacks. To accomplish this, you must deal what Blizzard refers to as Crowd Control damage. Crowd Control is affected by the following effects:
- Chill
- Daze
- Fear
- Freeze
- Immobilize
- Knockdown
- Knockback
- Slow
- Stun
- Taunt
- Tether
You should now be well-equipped to track down Ashava the Pestilent and defeat the lone Diablo 4 world boss present in the server slam.
