Destiny 2 players can now show off their fancy high heels

The Unyielding Favor Strides for Destiny 2’s Hunter class are, without a doubt, heels. The majority of Hunter leg armor falls into either the cowboy or combat boot categories, but these Unyielding Favor Strides will allow Hunters to defeat the darkness while keeping their backs straight and hips perked. Even the extra bits around the calves bear a passing resemblance to knee-high boots which just screams “yas queen.”

This revelation has gotten a lot of attention on the Destiny 2 Fashion subreddit, which is your one-stop shop for all things Destiny fashion. A Reddit user named Hairygull added a shader that gives the armor a red leather appearance that will look just as good on the runway as it will in The Tower.

Hunters aren’t the only ones who wear more feminine shoes. Warlocks have slightly lower heels with the Unyielding Favor Boots. It’s a look that acknowledges both style and the extreme difficulty of running around Trostland on your balls for hours on end. Titans, on the other hand, received their standard-issue armored boots. It’s not that the Titans lack fashion sense; it’s just that they don’t have many options.

You can get this leg armor from the new Season of Defiance War Table and decoding the seasonal engrams.

Lightfall is also adding more diversity to Destiny 2 by introducing the franchise’s first non-binary character. Regrettably, not all Guardians respect Nimbus’ pronouns.
