Demi Lovato is rumored to be dating ‘One Direction’ singer Niall Horan, although she has now come forward to deny that the two are dating, insisting that they’re just friends. The rumors began after Demi and Niall reportedly shared a romantic Mexican dinner together after the recent VMAs, but Demi says the two aren’t a couple. Speaking at a press junket for ‘The X Factor’ Demi says she is happy for Niall’s recent success with the band:
“There’s nothing going on. Niall’s my friend, I’m really happy for One Direction and the success that they’ve had, It just goes to show you how crazy this competition is to making stars and the success that they have. He’s a good friend of mine.”
When asked about her love life, Demi stayed quiet on the topic, stating that at the moment the only thing that’s on her mind is work and she doesn’t have time for a relationship:
“I’m just focusing on my work right now.”
