During her visit to London this week, Christine McGuinness was all smiles as she reunited with Helen Flanagan.
With a loving hug of Helen Flanagan, Christine McGuinness boasts that her trip to London has “leveled up” her social skills
The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star, 35, seemed thrilled when she ran into the actress, 32, in the capital on Thursday for the No7 Future Renew launch event.
Christine, stunning in black leather trousers, and Heleb, looking wonderful in a pink tracksuit, smiling for the camera as they put their arms around each other for the snapshot.
Christine shared the photo and caption “My daughter @hjflanagan” on her Instagram story, along with the words “so lovely to see you” with a red heart emoji.
The model, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 33, posted the photo and others from her trip to London to her grid, writing that the experience had “leveled up” her social abilities.
She reported that “my social skills these last 2 days have levelled up. London is always a good idea.”
Once Helen and Christine ran into them other, she sent Christine a photo and gushed about how stunning the actress was.
Helen wrote, “Look who I bumped into” under a video she posted to her own story. “Not normal how beautiful you are @mrscmcguinness.”
Christine met up with her friend Duncan James, 45, at the beauty event, and she posted a photo of the two of them on her feed.
Christine left a sly hint for her followers about who she was about to see before their appointment.
She divulged to her fanbase, “me and this person when we first met spent our whole time naked together.’
In 2021, Christine and Duncan co-starred on The Real Full Monty on ITV.
Christine’s weekend in London comes after she recently discussed her unconventional living situation with ex-husband Paddy McGuinness, saying, “I don’t know life without him.”
In June of last year, after 11 years of marriage and three children, the blonde beauty and the broadcaster, 49, announced their separation.
Yet, they have acknowledged that they have continued living together for the sake of their children.
Christine discussed the agreement with OK! magazine, noting that she was unsure of how long it will survive.
She emphasized that “It’s certainly not a long-term or forever plan. It works right now because we’re both so busy and we’re in and out of the home so we tend to swap days and we’ll share.”
“It’s much like any parent really – juggling jobs and children. We definitely don’t want to upset them or change anything too quickly, and for me as well.”
“I like slow changes, and we’re alright – we’re family. I’ve known Paddy for 15 years, so I don’t know life without him. It is what it is.”
“He’s happy that I’ve found a place I’m comfortable in” she continued. He was very proud of my book and my documentary. He watched it and he loved it, and said he was really pleased that not only was I working but I was making a big difference as well.”
“It’s good he’s supportive because I need him to be. I need to be able to leave happily knowing the children are being looked after and safe. It’s partnership and teamwork.”
This follows Christine’s discussion of her relationship with Paddy on The Jeremy Vine Show last week.
Christine remarked, “It’s been absolutely fine, I don’t know any different than to live with him. I can’t remember not living with him, I’ve been with him since I was 19 years old.”
“We want to do what’s best for the children, it’s certainly not a long term plan. But for right now we don’t feel like anything needs to change frankly for me and for the children. I think slow change is better.”
“It works well, we’re both in and out the house quite often with work, we’ve both got busy schedules so it doesn’t make sense for us to rush into separate houses anytime soon. For as long as the kids are happy we’re happy.”
Penelope and Leo, who are nine, and Felicity, who is six, are Paddy and Christine’s children.
