Chloe Bailey claims that she ‘was laughing about’ the criticism of the explicit sex scene in Swarm | ‘I am really proud of my performance,’

Just one month after receiving criticism for working with convicted abuser Chris Brown, Chloe Bailey was criticized for a graphic sex scene in the new drama, Swarm.

Chloe Bailey brushed off the criticism she received for her racy sex scene in Swarm’s pilot episode

Within the first few minutes of the pilot, fans were shocked to see the 24-year-old singer’s character, Marissa, making out passionately with her boyfriend, Dre (Damson Idris).

Chloe received a barrage of online backlash for the scene, but she told ET Canada without batting an eye: ‘I was laughing about it.’

She gushed: ‘I am really proud of my performance in that show and being on set with such incredible actors like Damson [Idris] and Dominique [Fishback] and being directed by Donald Glover and being on set with the likes of Malia Obama and Janine [Nabers] and everybody.’

The stunning beauty also posted a series of seductive photos to Instagram on Saturday, flaunting her toned stomach and legs in a knotted t-shirt and tiny black shorts.

Chloe continued: ‘I learned so much being on that set. I also learned that it’s okay to be imperfect as an actor because that’s where the realness lies.’

‘We’re not supposed to play like this perfectly built human being, because that doesn’t exist in the real world. So when I let that go, acting became an even deeper love for me.’ she added.

She said in the interview that she doesn’t care if her fans don’t understand that she’s an adult anymore.

‘No, it doesn’t frustrate me anymore because I have so many other things to think about than to waste my time thinking how people perceive me,’ she said. ‘You know, before it used to bother me, but now I’m like, I got so much to worry about.’

After the interview was published online, Chloe stripped down to promote her new album, In Pieces, with some revealing photos.

Social media users wasted no time in criticizing Beyoncé’s protege, saying she was “making terrible decisions” by posting the suggestive photo.

Donald Glover’s first TV series with Amazon Studios is called Swarm, and it follows the story of Dre (Fishback), a young woman whose unhealthy devotion to her favorite singer leads her to commit murder.

In addition to being the show’s creator, Glover serves as an executive producer and directed the pilot for Swarm.

The first season of the horror anthology premiered in its entirety on Friday. The Bad Guy performer plays the role of Eva, a cult leader who hypnotizes her followers into engaging in dangerous activities.

Damson Idris, Bryron Bowers, Kiersey Clemons, Paris Jackson, Rickey Thompson, Rory Culkin, and X Mayo fill out the rest of the cast.
