Brandy has revealed her favourite makeup tool – and it’s budget-friendly. She loves the Beauty Blender, a simple sponge for applying foundation. She loves how natural her makeup appears when she uses it and is impressed with the results. For lips, Brandy loves how Armani glosses add both colour and moisture to her lips, while she turns to Tom Ford for her foundation products:
“The Beauty Blender is the best thing that ever happened to me in terms of makeup because it just softens everything without taking the makeup off. It just makes it look like skin. I love the Giorgio Armani Lip Gloss. It moisturizes your lip, but at the same time, it gives you a pop. And I love the Tom Ford Foundation–and I’m not just trying to name drop (laughs)–but it really is the best foundation ever.”
Brandy is known for frequently experimenting with her hair and she has commented on how she looks after it. The singer and actress says her ultimate secret is Morrocan Oil, and she has noticed it keeps her hair feeling very healthy:
“I love Morrocan Oil. I use the shampoo, conditioner, oil and I just take care of my natural hair. If I’m not doing the wigs or the weaves or braids, those are the products. Not a lot of stress, not a lot of pulling, just healthy hair.”
Brandy has been playing the role of Roxy in the Broadway musical ‘Chicago’, and she has opened up on how the makeup varies from preparing for the red carpet:
“It’s really not that much different. I do my face the same exact way I would do it for stage; a lot of powder, a lot of concealer. The only thing that’s different is the lashes are bigger because my eyes have to pop on stage and the red lip for Roxy. I don’t really wear a red lip ever in anything I do.”
