Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck backed out of a deal to buy a $34.5 million mansion, and now they have reportedly settled on a home that is almost twice as expensive.

After reportedly walking away from a $34.5m (£28m) property in the same neighborhood, the couple is now rumored to be in escrow for the Pacific Palisades mansion.
The upscale neighborhood it’s found in is home to the country’s wealthiest people.
The new mansion features an unbelievable eight bedrooms and eleven bathrooms. Fitness facilities, a theater, and a game room totaling 800 square feet are included.
JLo and Ben will have access to a private pool spa with canyon views, where they can unwind before warming up in front of their own fire.
In addition to the main house, there is a separate guest house on the property, complete with a hot tub in the Japanese style.
According to TMZ’s source, the couple has been making frequent trips to the property in anticipation of the sale’s closing so that they can scope out potential renovations.
The rumor mill has it that they applied the same level of scrutiny to the prior residence as well.
Since Ben recently sold his mansion in Pacific Palisades for approximately $30 million (£25 million), the couple should have no trouble affording the $64 million mansion, according to the source.
The escrow on JLo’s Bel-Air mansion, which she has listed for $39 million (£32.5 million), has a potential buyer.
The previous Rustic Canyon house they looked at had seven bedrooms and thirteen bathrooms.
The enormous garage can fit six cars, and there’s also a separate guesthouse. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, the restaurant, and the bar. The property features an outdoor kitchen and jacuzzi for relaxing in the fresh air.

Ben and Jennifer’s house search has reportedly been going on for a year.
The couple tied the knot in July of last year after reconciling following a breakup in 2004.
Jennifer and ex-husband Marc Anthony have twins, Max and Emme, whom she raised in Miami before the two reconciled.
While Ben has two children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet Seraphina and Samuel.
