‘High School Musical’ star Ashley Tisdale is teaming up with ShoeDazzle.com, selecting her favourite boot design with the aim of raising funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ashley comments that she visited the hospital in the past and was amazed by the treatment and care the hospital gives their patients and their families. She explained:
“I visited their hospital a year and a half ago, and what they do for those children and the families is amazing, because it’s such a tough and stressful time, but to have a hospital that really takes care of these children, and pay for everything: treatments, housing, food for the whole family, is pretty amazing.”
Ashley says the hospital has been on her mind ever since and she wanted to find a way to raise funds for them, so when she was given the opportunity to work with the fashion company, she was excited to use her love of fashion for a good cause:
”So, I left there feeling like it was one of those life-changing moments, where I was like, ‘Any time I can give back to this place…’ because they go off of donations, is something that I will do for the rest of my life. So, I’m excited to be able to come out with this boot. I’m a humongous fan of fashion and shopping, so, I’m excited to be a part of this.”
Speaking on her own sense of style, Ashley comments that she likes to mix different types of looks together but she always has a favourite pair of boots, which is why this collaboration represents her so perfectly. She believes the style is so versatile and can be worn with anything:
”I have a style that I wouldn’t say it’s down to one specific thing, but I like to kind of be rocker chic to chic to boho, and I feel like the shoe is very versatile. My go-to is always my boot, because I’m not a big heels person. I love to wear heels for special occasions, but booties are my favorite. You can [pair] it with skinny jeans, an oversized sweater, a little boho dress to dress it up.”
