Apex Legends – What is Apex Legends Realm & How to join

Apex Legends Realm

Do you believe you have what it takes to join Apex Legends Realm? Read on for an explanation of Realm and registration instructions.

What is Apex Legends Realm?

If you’re an aspiring pro or an established pro looking to hone your skills in an environment that more closely mimics real ALGS matches, then look no further than Realm.

Realm is only for Solo-Que. Players are matched based on their individual performance in Realm matches. Your MMR increases if you perform well. However, if you perform poorly, your MMR will suffer.

The Solo-Que system, like Ranked Mode, prevents top-tier players from stacking their teams and running through lobbies. Ideally, this system separates the pros and highly talented streamers into separate teams comprised of up-and-coming and Tier 2 players. Winning in Realm is a true testament to one’s ability, as you’ll need to collaborate with unfamiliar teammates and succeed despite the odds.

Realm’s first season has a massive $150,000 prize pool per region to attract players and raise awareness. Each day, the top players on the leaderboard receive a prize, and at the end of Season 1, the top players receive sizable cash prizes. There will also be a season-ending tournament and a series of smaller tournaments throughout the year, each with their own share of the $150,000 prize pool.

How to join Apex Legends Realm?

In order to compete in the Realm SoloQ League, gamers must first sign up for an account on the Realm website and join the league’s official Discord server. Those interested in joining can do so by entering a registration code provided in the Discord server.

After linking their Discord to the Realm website, players will receive a direct message (DM) informing them when their pairing is complete. After that, players need to send a screenshot of their Apex account and their username to the official verification Discord channel.

To pass the final verification step, players must meet at least one of the following requirements.

  • CC/PLQ finalists
  • Have a Liquipedia page
  • Achieved Master or better in the EMEA region (excluding Season 12 and Arenas)
  • Achieved Apex Predator in the NA region (excluding Season 12 and Arenas)

If you don’t meet these requirements but have a verified player vouch for you and the Realm Pro League Player Council in your region gives you approval, you might be able to play in the league.

Once verified, you can freely join the queue and begin playing matches while lobbies are active. Do you have what it takes to climb the ranks, win cash prizes, and compete against the best Apex Legends has to offer?
