‘Les Miserables’ actress Amanda Seyfried references her costar Anne Hathaway’s dramatic makeover (weight loss and a short haircut for the role) by stating that she wouldn’t take on a part that required such dramatic weight loss because she cares too much about her general health and the process would drive her insane. However, she would be more than happy to cut her hair off if a part required it:
“I would have done that for sure. I probably wouldn’t lose or gain weight for a role, though. I’m too health-conscious. And I don’t think I could actually lose weight because I couldn’t be on that kind of a diet. I would lose my mind.”
Speaking on her other upcoming role in which she plays famous porn star Linda Lovelace, Amanda says that she’s “okay with it” when it comes to getting naked on screen and she did it for this particular role because she felt it wouldn’t be believable for a stripper to spend all her time clothed during the entire film:
“It’s not about my body. It’s not about me, you’re playing somebody else. You’re not going to believe a love scene if the people are dressed. You’re not going to believe a stripper who has on a bra and underwear the whole time. At the same time, it has to do with how comfortable you are with letting people see your skin. For me, I’m okay with it.”
