Twilight actress Kristen Stewart has been taking loads of style risks as of late for the recent ‘Twilight’ premieres, so she really disappointed when she arrived at the 2012 Governors Awards in a plain dress that didn’t flatter her figure. The top half of the dress starts out ok: there is a t-shirt style section with lace print that would work fine if it wasn’t for the black lumpy bottom half which makes her look strangely disproportionate – the figure-hugging style and unflattering shape looks heavy and makes her look wider – the fabric is all wrong too. She completed the look with pointed black heels, black nails, smoky eyes and wavy hair.
Kristen is at least starting to think outside the box when it comes to her fashion choices, but it has had varying effectiveness so far. Sometimes she gets it right and looks amazing thanks to her style risk, but this one is one of the times it didn’t work out well. It’s all bout finding what works and what doesn’t, sadly this one falls into the latter category. Kristen shouldn’t be too down in the dumps – it could look a lot worse, and her beauty look is still so pretty it almost distracts from the neck-down monstrosity unfolding on the red carpet.
