Hugh Jackman costars in Les Miserables with Anne Hathaway and he’s already suggested that she’s one to watch when it comes to the approaching Oscars which will be held early next year. Anne, who has already expressed how happy she would be to win the award, is reportedly one of the front runners to take home the main female prize thanks to her performance. Hugh believes her part will earn her the award because she was so prepared, even from the first day – he believes it was meant to be and that her hard work has paid off:
“After Annie’s first day of rehearsal, I said to Tom, ‘You can just turn the camera on, digitally remove the script from her hands, and she’s going to win the Academy Award.”
Anne’s other co-star Amanda Seyfried has also complimented her singing insisting that once she heard Anne’s voice she was forced to do better with her own:
“As soon as I heard her sing, I was like, ‘Oh s**t. I‘ve got to up my game big time.'”
