The ‘Killing Them Softly’ star, Brad Pitt has apparently asked friend and British chef Jamie Oliver to prepare dinner for him and his family consisting of fiancée Angelina Jolie and their six children for Christmas 2012. Brad Pitt and Jamie Oliver have been friends for several years.
The Hollywood heartthrob and ‘Tomb Raider’ girl have already started making plans to spend the Christmas festive season 2012 at their home in London, UK.
“Jamie has been pals with Brad since he was married to Jennifer Aniston and Ange likes him too,” a source told a British newspaper.
The source further added, “Jamie will be heading to their Surrey mansion to help prepare Christmas dinner.”
Although Jamie has tried hard to teach Brad how to cook, it seems the 48-year-old actor didn’t pick up much from the lessons and still lacks culinary skills.
“Brad asked him to do it after he begged Jamie for cookery lessons last year. Jamie tried to teach him but he’s useless in the kitchen,” the source added.
The actor reportedly set his mind on cooking lessons after getting tired of taking his six children out for meals.
This is not the first time Mr. Pitt has taken domestic responsibilities in their London home, where he has been busy filming ‘World War Z’ and ‘The Counselor’.
The couple have made a pact never to work at the same time, so while his fiancée is on location for new movie ‘Maleficent’, Brad takes on the role of mama.
A source also said, “Brad has always been an attentive father, but recently he’s becoming more domesticated, too. “
The couple have a lot of help around the home, but Brad’s started getting quite into sorting out the washing and doing the ironing himself.
The source added, “He’s been pottering around the house a bit while Ange is away, and it helps to keep him occupied.
“He likes nothing more than doing a bit of housework before getting the kids to help him prepare dinner, which they love. He’s turned into a right Mr Muscle. He’s also been going to the local supermarket, and runs errands to the local dry cleaners in Camberley.”
Brad and Angelina – along with their six children – are presently spending time in UK while working on zombie movie ‘World War Z’ and Disney film ‘Maleficent’ respectively.
